The week was full of emotions for the clubs in Toulouse. From the remarkable performance of Toulouse FC in the Coupe de France, the precious victory of Fenix against Dunkerque, to the resounding success of Spacer’s against Montpellier, several teams shone. However, not everything was perfect as Colomiers, Toulouse Métropole Basket, and Toulouse Olympique XIII faced more challenging evenings. Here is an overview of the top and flop sporting events of the week in Toulouse.

Tops Toulouse Football Club (Coupe de France) Toulouse FC started the week with a remarkable feat: eliminating Olympique de Marseille in the quarter-finals. Trailing early on penalties, the Violets responded through Gboho before being equalized again and joining their opponents in a spectacular match (2-2). After a tense finish and multiple chances on both sides, the qualification was decided by penalties. Toulouse kept their nerves, with a decisive save from Haug, and advanced to the semi-finals.

Toulouse Basket Club (National 1) Toulouse Basket Club easily dominated Mulhouse (79-57) at Palais des sports to start the second phase of the championship. Led by a solid defense and active Pluvy, the Toros quickly took the lead and extended it throughout the match. Serious and effective on both ends of the court, the Toulousians controlled the game from start to finish.

Fenix Toulouse (Starligue) Fenix Toulouse Handball secured a victory against US Dunkerque (31-27) on the 19th matchday of Starligue. Initially struggling, the Toulousians quickly turned the tide thanks to their defense and the efficiency of Ilic and Kojadinovic. Leading at halftime (14-20), they then expanded their lead despite the expulsion of their captain towards the end of the match. A valuable victory in the race for European places.

Spacer’s Toulouse (SpikeLigue) Spacer’s Toulouse impressed by defeating Montpellier HSC VB (3-0) in the Occitan derby of SpikeLigue. Against a heavily restructured Montpellier team preparing for the Champions League, the Toulousians dominated the game from start to finish. A clear victory that brings Spacer’s closer to a playoff qualification and ends Montpellier’s unbeaten home record since May 2025.

Toulouse Blagnac Hockey Club (Division 2) The Bélougas revived their eighth-finals in the championship by decisively defeating Phoenix de Reims (4-1). Beaten in the first leg, the Bélougas made a strong start through Beye and Audisio, before controlling the game despite conceding a goal while short-handed. Sullivan and Blaser then sealed the Toulouse victory. This win forces a decisive third match between the two teams for a spot in the quarter-finals.

Flops Colomiers Rugby (Pro D2) Colomiers Rugby suffered a home defeat against CA Brive (10-23) on the 23rd matchday of Pro D2. After a tight first half ending with a slight advantage (7-6), the Columérins yielded in the second half to Brive’s discipline and realism. Despite a try from Adélaïde igniting the hosts, Shillcock’s penalties and a try from Galthié turned the game around which was also interrupted by a fire without casualties.
