A procession is underway Wednesday afternoon for an Oklahoma Highway Patrol trooper killed in a wreck along Interstate 35. A procession honored the trooper and two others, including a 4-year-old child, who were killed in the crash on I-35 in Oklahoma City. The incident is being treated as a crime scene. The trooper has been identified as Vernon Brake, survived by his wife and two children, with nearly 20 years of service to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol. The interstate remains closed, and motorists are advised to seek alternate routes.
