The first Australian film festival will take place at Nayrac on Saturday, April 11 and Sunday, April 12.
Discover the Australian outback through the inspiring adventure of a young aborigine in the bush, the drama affecting Australian farmers, the behind-the-scenes of a music festival in Western Australia, and a documentary about one of the greatest aboriginal painters.
All films will be in their original version with French subtitles. On Saturday, April 11, at 3:00 PM: welcome, festival presentation, and launch; at 3:30 PM: conference on Australia and aboriginal painting; at 4:00 PM: break with fouace and a glass of Torpez wines from Saint-Tropez; at 4:30 PM: presentation and screening of “Sweet As” by Jub Clerc 2022 (87 minutes), followed by a debate; at 8:00 PM: welcome with a glass of champagne by Roadsign; at 8:30 PM: presentation and screening of “Three Summers” by Ben Elton, 2017 (95 minutes), followed by a debate.
On Sunday, April 12, at 2:30 PM: aboriginal documentary “Emily: I am Kam” by Danielle MacLean 2025 (60 minutes); at 3:30 PM: break with fouace and a glass of friendship; at 4:00 PM: presentation and screening of “Just a farmer” by Simon Lyndon 2024 (103 minutes), followed by a debate.
