Multiple Injuries in Israel in Iranian Missile Strikes

Five people were injured in Tel Aviv and central Israel after several Iranian missile strikes caused material damage, according to Israeli emergency services.

Since midnight, six missile salvos have been fired from Iran towards Israel, announced the Israeli army.

In Bnei Brak, east of Tel Aviv, a man in his forties was slightly injured in the face by glass shards, according to Magen David Adom (MDA), the Israeli Red Cross equivalent.

Throughout the day, emergency services said they had treated several other victims, all with minor injuries.

Niece and Granddaughter of Iranian General Qassem Soleimani Arrested in the US

The US State Department announces the arrest of the niece and granddaughter of Iranian General Qassem Soleimani, who was killed in 2020 by a drone strike ordered by Donald Trump.

“Last night, the niece and granddaughter of the General of the Revolutionary Guards Qassem Soleimani were arrested by federal agents following Secretary of State Marco Rubio’s revocation of their permanent resident status,” a State Department spokesperson said in a statement.

The niece is identified as Hamideh Soleimani Afshar and is accused of openly supporting the Islamic Republic.

Donald Trump Gives Iran 48 Hours to “Conclude an Agreement” or “Reopen the Strait of Hormuz” Before “Hell Breaks Loose on Them”

US President Donald Trump once again pressures Iran to reach an agreement.

“Remember when I gave Iran 10 days to conclude an agreement or reopen the Strait of Hormuz. The deadline is almost up. There are 48 hours left before hell breaks loose on them,” he wrote on his TruthSocial platform.

Pakistan Claims Ceasefire Efforts Progressing

The spokesperson for the Pakistani Ministry of Foreign Affairs claims that their government’s efforts to negotiate a ceasefire are “on track.”

Tahir Andrabi made these comments to the Associated Press following reports of a mediation deadlock.

His remarks come about a week after Pakistan hosted high-level diplomats from Turkey, Egypt, and Saudi Arabia and reaffirmed its commitment to facilitate talks between Washington and Tehran.
