This Easter weekend promises to be entertaining in the city center of Alès. This is largely thanks to the initiative of the two main merchant associations, UCIA and the Association of Merchants in the City (Acev).
The Acev aims to showcase “a lively, dynamic, and committed city center” and to “create connections with customers” by organizing a game called “La Vitrine Magique” from Saturday, April 4th to April 25th. At number 31 Rue d’Avéjan, a window display is presented to the public, who must estimate the total amount without exceeding it. To help participants, the price of each displayed item is shown in participating stores, which also have entry forms available. “A great opportunity to (re)discover the city center shops while having fun,” says the Acev.
The person closest to the actual total amount of the window display without going over will win everything it contains. In case of a tie, a draw will determine the winners, which will take place on April 28th.
The Easter egg hunt of Robin is back
UCIA, on the other hand, is bringing back “Les Œufs de Robin, le lapin alsacien.” This event, which involves an Easter egg hunt “full of surprises” in the shopping streets, will take place on Saturday, April 4th, from 10 am to 6 pm, starting at the Place des Martyrs-de-la-Résistance (where necessary brochures can be collected).
There are many prizes to be won: a tablet, a smartphone, three “CCInside” cards worth 100 euros each, vouchers valid in several stores in Alès, chocolate eggs, etc. The winners will be selected through a draw, scheduled for April 6th at 6 pm. Then, on Sunday, April 5th and Monday, April 6th
In continuation of the Easter festivities, the French Red Cross organizes an egg hunt in Alès on Sunday, April 5th, from 10 am to 4 pm, at Parc de la Tour vieille on Avenue d’Anduze. The next day, at the same times, a similar event is scheduled in Parc des Cordeliers in the city center of Anduze.
