Charles III and Camilla will be heading to the United States at the end of April. However, the king will not be able to honor a meeting requested by some parliamentarians once there.

The late April visit of Charles III and Camilla to the United States was confirmed on March 31 by Donald Trump and the British royal family. Although the exact dates and events have not yet been announced, it is planned for the king to address both houses of Congress in a joint session. However, according to People magazine, despite calls from some parliamentarians for the monarch to meet with Jeffrey Epstein’s victims during his visit, such a meeting will not be possible due to ongoing investigations in the UK related to the businessman.

Sources indicate that this meeting will not take place for fear that any information from such a meeting could potentially affect or hinder the work of British law enforcement agencies or any resulting legal action. King Charles III and Queen Camilla have both reiterated their unwavering support for Epstein’s victims in previous statements regarding Prince Andrew’s ties to Epstein. In a palace statement in October 2025, he even decided to strip his brother of his royal titles and honors.

Amidst all this, a question arises: will Charles III and Camilla take the opportunity to visit Harry and Meghan Markle in California? According to People magazine, they will not. The king and his younger son are not expected to see each other during this official trip, which promises to be particularly busy. “During a state visit, every minute is planned,” insisted a source. It is therefore difficult to imagine a private break on the West Coast. In addition, according to the same source, Prince Harry is not considering requesting a moment with his father in such a context. A tacit agreement seems to exist between the two men, each aware of the constraints imposed by such an official trip.
