LEE TAKES MAINTENANCE DAY
Anders Lee did not practice with the team due to maintenance. He has 41 points (18G, 23A) this season. Max Shabanov filled in for Lee during practice with Bo Horvat and Emil Heineman. Head Coach Patrick Roy expects Lee to play on Friday.
SOROKIN TO START VS PHILLY
Ilya Sorokin will start in goal for Friday’s game against the Philadelphia Flyers at UBS Arena. This will be his fifth consecutive start. Sorokin has a record of 28-20-2 with a 2.59 GAA and .910 SV%, along with seven shutouts.
HOLMSTROM UPDATE Simon Holmstrom is day-to-day with an upper-body injury and was unable to practice. He also missed Tuesday’s game in Buffalo. There is no update on his status for Friday’s game. Holmstrom has 39 points (19G, 20A) this season.
DEANGELO UPDATE Tony DeAngelo is out with a lower-body injury and did not practice with the team. He has missed the last four games since March 24th.
